Change primary mail to @me.com.

I just updated to iCloud/iOS5 and i activated an @me.com mail adres. And now that I have that I want to stop using my gmail but I can't delete my gmail adres from my apple id. I want my primary mail to be my @me.com because thats the mail I plan on using. But it won't let me change it. Every time I try it sais that I can't use a mobile me mail as a primary mail, but that isn't a mobile me mail but an icloud mail. Anybody know how I can fix this issue? I really want to start using my @me.com mail. Thx in advance.
