The same thing happened to me. Delete the iCloud account with the wrong information off the device in the preferences app, then re-set up the iCloud account (again through preferences) with the correct apple ID.

I don't understand what preferences app you are referring to. I am having the same problem as the original poster. I keep trying to enter my correct password and it keeps defaulting back to the incorrect one. I need very specific info about how to change this as I am not too Apple savvy. Thanks!

Go to Settings>Cloud then swipe up until the bottom of the screen appears. You should see Delete Account in white on a red background. Tap Delete Account then Delete. You should then be able to enter the AppleID email address you want to use in iCloud and the password that goes with it.
Post back if this doesn't help.

hey guys so this would work but my phone is asking for me to put my password in to turn off the find my iphone setting..how do i get around that?
