When I installed iOS5 and setup iCloud on my iPhone 4 I was instructed to wait for an email from Apple with instructions for verifying the account. I still haven't received the email. I even tried deleting the account and setting it up again several times. I get the same instructions every time to wait for the email but no email comes. Anybody have any idea how many days it takes apple to send the email?

I have had the same problem as well. It has been 4 days since I upgraded my phone. I have lost all contacts that were put in phone the last 5 months. I Can view my music in itunes, but can not play anything. All aplications are working, but without the verification I can not download ANYTHING or play music. Where is the email verification??? I have tried atleast 20 times. 😢 What is happing to my iphone?

I went to that page and tried to 'manage my account'. I clicked on the link to 'Verify now' and it does nothing. 😟

I'm desprate to get this cloud thing up and running. When I upgraded to the new OS, my itunes screen was saying 'backing up', 'backing up' for like 10 mins (I assumed it was backing up, right??)...then when I went to complete the process it asked if I wanted to use a back up and I said yes, and I chose the most recent from the drop down list and it said the back up could not be located...so I tried another back up, and then a third (and last) back up - all giving me the same error 'could not be located'. There was no way to abort or cancel at that point...so I ended up having to setup as a new phone. THREE YEARS of pics and videos of my kids are now lost, but I'm hoping against hope maybe it's stuck in an iCloud? I won't know until I get it activated. Apple, please help!
