iPod touch 4g on 4.3.5 wont update to 5.0

iPod touch 4g on 4.3.5 wont update to 5.0 ... stuck in verify mode for over 24 hours. Manually stopped and tried again, same thing happened.Any suggestions?

iPod touch, Windows 7
