    Same here.

    MM user, iCloud migrator.

I've done everything... restarted... deleted accounts, etc.

Push works INTERMITTETEDLY.  Today it didn't work from 7:50am - 8:30am EST.  I opened Mail at 8:30 and BAM there was an email from like 7:59.

But most (just MOST) of the afternoon emails were pushed.

But I just opened mail at 8:30pm EST and there was an email from 4pm that I had no idea was there.

This is BS and they need to fix it!  I liked MobileMe so much

I am a MobileMe Family Pack user who migrated to iCloud. On my iPhone, which has the master MobileMe account assigned as the iCloud account on the phone (also assigned for email), push works fine. My wife's iPhone also has the former master account as her official iCloud account for the iPhone (we want to share the same calendars and photo stream),  but her email comes from her iCloud email account (former sub-account on MM). She is having push problems. Not sure if others have the same dynamic of having the mail come from a different iCloud account than the main phone iCloud account, and then having push problems on the mail account. I would like to see this fixed.

    Hello!

Same problem! From mobileme to icloud. Every thing is ok for a week. Now No push if mail is closed.

    I tried to:

    -delete and re-add icloud account

-create new icloud account and add to iphone

-reinstall al ios 5 and use with no backup.

    The problem is here too.

    I cant understand.

Ok Apple now has millions of iclud user, sure more than mobileme, but should know this "overload"...a big farm in NC....boh..

Apparently there are many ways to solve this, here is my quick fix in case it helps someone:

    - in Settings, turn off iCloud email sync. No emails will be deleted

    - reboot iPhone

    - in Settings, turn on email sync again.

Since that I have my emails pushed again.

Cheers arnoz, that's worked for me - I'll give it a couple of days before I celebrate but it looks promicing. I think I may have tried just about every other combination of switching options on/off, deleting/reinstating iCloud accounts and restarting the phone!

    Fingers crossed.

This is working so far. Thanks for the tip.

Like most of you, I have also tried all possible troubleshooting steps for this issue.

The problem with mail is that it works occassionally... then all of a sudden stops (after a couple of hours)

    It works:

    right after a reboot

after manually activating mail sync of iCloud in settings

    opening mail app manually

...after a couple of hours, we're lucky if we get anything pushed.

Just to echo what everyone else is saying, FWIW. I have exactly the same problems with email sync since I installed iOS5. PITA.

Same thing happening with my iPhone 4S.

Push email for all accounts work except for the iCloud .me account.

It was working intermittantly for the past couple weeks but now it just flat out won't push.

It's starting to feel like the MobileMe launch all over again.....

I think I have solved my Push problem.

I created an additional account and used: imap.mail.me.com

    and smpt.mail.me.com.

    It works.

I think the problem is with the 99p server.

It is working like a charm.  For the first time since updating to iCloud with my

new iPhone 4s my mail is pushing. Mail app is closed in the background.

No problems.  Just set up a new account as above. iCloud is still the default

    server.

This might have something to do with MobileMe.  Don't know what will happen

    if/when Apple shuts down MobleMe.

    Waylon

Now a few other people try it out and let us know.  I've wasted too much time on this mess to try it out again.
