Then, when importing, how do I select multiple photos vs uploading each individually? Thanks much. Can't figure it out on google...
select the photos and export (file menu ==> Export) using the size options to reduce the size
as to the importing question, I have no idea what you are asking - importing imports all of the selected photos from your camera or a disk folder

THANK YOU LARRY! Really appreciate your help!
So part one is good...now part two:
Now, how do I insert multiple photos into an excel document vs inserting each individually? Insert, Picture, From FIle...now what? it only allows me to choose 1 at a time.

That is a MS Excel support question not an Apple iPhoto question

Come on Larry, you apple wiz...it should be really basic, no?
it should be really basic,
Humm = wonder why you are asking then 😉

Because I am a FRUSTRATED pc girl trying to do basic things on a mac and am TOTALLY lost!!! I thoght it is suppoed to be really user friendly?!!!
The Mac is (IMHO) - Excel is a MicroSoft product - therefore it needs MS support

PS - you might give the Apple Numbers forum a try - more likely that someone there might know Excel details than here in the iPhoto forum
