Notification Badges Will Not Clear

The ESPN Scorecenter notification badge will not clear for anything. It has been on the phone for months now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Even after I upgraded to iOS 5 the notifications are still showing up. Anyone have any ideas?
