Port problems

I have a minecraft server and i managed to open the port for it. Later i got a plugin that needs another port opened for it to work but for the life of me it won't open. What is the problem?

According the this

http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server

You must open the TCP port (default is 25565) on the firewall

Those ports you opened do not include these.

Is it on a PC with firewall, have you tried turning off the firewall?

You must have static ip address so the ports are always forwarded to the correct IP.

The plugin is for the same game?? You have given zero details so it is hard to help.

Also does the TC get the public ip on the wan port, or do you have another router infront of it??
