A deleted location based "reminder" continues to alert me, but does not actually show up in the reminder list.

I'm having this exact problem. Any suggestions?

Same issue here. No idea how to fix, but it's annoying

Sadly, I managed to "fix" it by upgrading to a 4S. I told Siri to show me my reminders and saw 2 items that were otherwise not visible. I made sure I checked the boxes to mark them complete. I hope it works.

That was the only way that I could delete it as well. Through Siri.

Have you checked that they are not showing in our MobileMe reminders. If you swipe left/right on Reminders then it shows your completed reminder/reminders on phone/reminders on MobileMe.

I had to tick a GeoReminder I has set in order for it to complete when we one.

That's my problem. I am restoring the phone now to see if that clears it but this is definitely a problem that needs a solution

I've tried restoring the iPhone but it doesn't work. The bad reminder returns after restoring.

so after reading other posts I found the fix.

1.) go to settings>iCloud> then turn OFF reminders

2.) it will ask if you want to keep or delete reminders. Delete all reminders from your phone.

3.) Go back into reminders and the bad georeminder will now be visable.

4.) Delete the offending reminder

5.) go back into the settings>iCloud and turn reminders back on

A pain but it did work. And now I won't be using that until a fix comes down from Apple
