How on earth do you turn off 3G on the iPhone 4S that is really stupid if they actually disabled even if it is to make Siri better

I didn't say there is certainly a way to turn off 3G. I said IF it's possible, we'll find out with the jailbreak or with the next OS update.

Seems your post got deleted and rightfully so. That link you posted is a scam site, because there is no JB for 4S yet. I hope you didn't waste your money on those crooks.
Maybe, we will find out. There is no guarantee of that. I guess you are far more optimistic than I. Doesn't the iPhone 4S even have an entirely different baseband than previous GSM iPhones? Just askin'!

I merely stated the obvious which is that it is pointless to speculate when we don't know anything for sure and we just have to wait until a jailbreak or update comes out, but apparently you took offense because you supposedly know more than us and don't want to be lumped in with we the clueless.
And if that is really the case, it would be of great help to anybody following this thread to share this info that you supposedly possess that no one else knows about. But the more probable scenario is that you know nothing more than we do, then technically the word "clueless" would be applicable to you as well and you shouldn't whine about it.
Now, back to the topic at hand. None of your questions were relevant. Yes it's a different chip, and yes it's a different baseband. So what? None of that tells us what we want to know. Whether the ability to turn off 3G exists but was left out intentionally (by the OS) or whether it is incapable of turning it off manually.
I've given up trying to contact Apple about this. They have their heads in the sand. If we all returned our 4s phones they'd maybe get the message! My only regret is that I sold my 4 before checking the 4s out fully.
I've been into all the Apple stores in London and the staff (including the Genius bar staff) are clueless about this problem! COME ON APPLE - READ THESE THREADS AND POST A DEFINITIVE REPLY.
Can't you use Airplane mode?
You can use Wifi with it.
