Microphone input volume (why is it so quiet) !
Hi everyone !
I have bought new microphone SONY ECM-MS907 for recording my podcasts,(connected it to the optical input) unfortunetally the input voume is very low when recording in GarageBand 2.
I have change the input volume in Sound Preferences to the highest and set track volume to the highest in GarageBand 2 Mixer but the sound is still very quiet - I need to be very close to the microphone to record enything.
I am wondering if there is some other option that I missed or should I buy an ''external mixing board for it'' or maby it is better to use other programe (I want to buy iLife '06 with GarageBand 3 - will it help anything ?)
I hope you know what is going on... please help
