Oct 17, 2011 7:50 PM in response to edgewiseby arthurfromsalem,I am having a worse problem since upgrading my Ipod touch 4 to IOS 5. When I try to start Safari by pressing its button, I see a blank browser window for about 1 second, and then go right back into the home screen. I tried pressing Settings,
Safari,
Clear History
Clear Cookies and Data,
but that didn't help. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Oct 18, 2011 1:27 PM in response to edgewiseby jbarnhardt,I'm having the very same issue. Quite annoying. This is definitely new behavior with iOS 5. It seems to be more of any issue on my new Verizon iPhone 4S than on my old AT&T iPhone 4...

Oct 24, 2011 1:10 PM in response to edgewiseby Skaelight,I am having the same issue (iPad 1). I first thought it was Safari was using the web pages that were there when I upgraded to iOS5. Having deleted the cache and cookies multiple times, still no resolution. If I close safari, open, navigate to site, choose article, then hit back, the page I see was as it was several days ago.
Interesting issue this one. If only clearing the cache actually cleared the cache :)

Oct 24, 2011 7:09 PM in response to Skaelightby bob55105,I just picked up a new iPad2 (with iOS5, of course). Same thing is happening to me. I have a home screen webapp link that I cannot make access the current version of the page. Nasty, nasty bug. Is there a good way of bringing this to Apple's attention?

Oct 26, 2011 3:06 PM in response to edgewiseby jpozuk,Add me to the list, IPAD v1.
Being new to the apple world, I'd like to ask a question. We all seem to be reporting issues and there is no reply from apple. Don't want to step on toes, but that being the case, what value is there in posting. Thanks.
