Upgraded to Lion, now isight camera "not connected"

I have an iMac G5 with isight on it. I upgraded to Lion and now Photobooth, Facetime and iChat say "there is no camera connected". Ive restarted my computer numerous times, and in safe mode. I've unplugged the external hard drive. The camera is not listed in System Profiler either. I've force quit applications and followed instructions to shut down using CMD, OPT, ESC. Anyone have any other advise, or having the same issue?

Thanks for the new info. However, CoreDuo is not enough per

How to be certain of your iMac's identity:

( > About this Mac will tell you what processor you have.)

If you really have Lion running on your Mac, your system

obviously meets minimum requirements. Here are my best

suggestions for your camera problem:

• If Apple's http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090

suggestions do not help you, continue with the following.

• Use Disk Utility to repair permissions and then

download and apply the 10.7.2 Combo Update:

http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1459

• Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart

that completes the Combo update.

The Combo version of updates can sometimes correct

strange problems like yours.
