Is there a way to do that automatically?

  • biserko Level 1 (0 points)

aaa.. I am not sure for that... U can automatically change the size of all photos U want in PhotoShop.. but I think U must manually do changes in Itunes......

cmon mate, Im not changing my 300 albums covers manually... Id be hours doing that. This is a bug, so Apple should fix it. I dont have to do anything about it to solve this. My device worked great in iOS 4.3.5, so should it in iOS 5..

I couldnt be more agree with that.. The Store button is so annoying. I have iTunes app to do that. I dont want that button in the Music app..

This is one of the +200 new features!!!!

Same for me using the music app on my iPad. So so slooooow to respond. A real pain.very poor design.

its because it contains too much albums......thats why it is very slow!!!!!!!!!!

  • peternevill Level 1 (0 points)

Not likely as most of us had no problems with the previous iOS version. We did not suddenly expand our music collections over night.

What would be the easiest way to go about changing all my album covers to 150X150?

    Thanks,

you will lose the quality of your covers when viewing them in iTunes on a MAC.

Are u serious mate? You've got to copy every cover to an image file... Use that program and theeeeen replace all the covers MANUALLY with iTunes.. Seriously... I'm not doing that.

And, I've heard Apple is releasing iOS 5.0.1 to fix some issues, but they say nothing about this... I mean, Apple should aware of this. They are pulling our legs... I'm so upset with this thing... I really want a solution.

Hopefully Gracenote will change the artwork format from 600 X 600 to 150 X 150. That's the format

I get most of the time when iTunes connects to get the Album info.

But I sure hope the fix will be out soon.

Iam posting here to voice my frustration that cover flow is PAINFULLY slow on myiPhone 4.  I use it on a daily basis and it is a huge step backwards. I am posting here only so that the fine folks from apple will see thatanother person is having regrets about updating to ios 5.  If i could rollback to 4.3.5, I would in a heartbeat for no other reason than to have the IPODapp back.  FIX IT APPLE!! The rumored 5.0.1 does not mention ANYTHINGabout the music app. only the battery issues. This will now complete mycompliant.

Same here. Regretting updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. Not just the cover flow, switching tracks on the lock screen lags. Viewing music videos on the music player on landscape view shows nothing but just music. My phone lags every time the music switch while I was playing any game. After I have viewed a video in landscape mode. It will jump back to portrait mode even my phone is on landscape mode. I'm frustrated and disappointed on the upgrades and I wish Apple could fix this on the next update. I don't even have a clue why Apple had to make 2 seperate apps for music and videos when there is a playlist.

Resize the album artwork to 150x150 is not a bad idea, but it will look blur on the lock screen.

By the way, iPod doesn't have any problem above..
