Hello everybody,
i have a problem with my iPhone 4S wit iOS 5 to pair via bluetooth with my iPhone Cradle on my Mercedes Comand Navigation system.
Does anybody has a clue.?
Everytime i try to pair both devices, the process is canceled and my Comand says: No phone availible.

I have the same problem with my new 4S, the old 4 worked with the cradle. Mercedes says that Apple has to fix the 4S. Let´s hope they do.
I have the same problem, apples responce when you get through to their customer support is that its an issue with mercedes and that to cure the problem you have to upgrade the sysytem!!!!! which with a command system is not an easy fix.
It is not a mercedes issue, since all other phones you try to pair with mercedes work. Now guess, where is the problem. I would say it is not Mercedes.
Well, having a Mercedes you better do not buy a iphone4s. Or let's put it the other way round. Having an iphone4s you better do not buy a Mercedes.
Now it's your choice.... ;)
Same problem here. It does not work. All elder phones work. It seems not to be a OS issue, since iphone 4 with latest OS works fine.
I am sorry to advise that since I have upgraded my i phone 4 to iOS 5.01 it does not communicate with the cradle
of my Mercedes CLK 200. It was working fine before the upgrade. If any one can help please advise. Thanks
Same problem here... Ill never buy a apple product again. Expensive, not reliable and nothing works as you expect.
Re iphone 4 and iOS 5.01 problem I had following upgrade from iOS 4.3.3! I deleted the cradle from the i phone's bluetooth devices list and tried to re install it. After a couple of attempts (pressing the crandle button until the blue light blinks fast, turning the bluetooth of the phone on and putting the cradle code), pairing took place and the phone now works fine with the car's sound system as before. In retrospect is seems so easy, I should have tried it in the first place. A minor problem is that when I remove the phone from the cradle and then click it back, pairing is either very slow or does not take place and I have to go to the phone's settings/general//bluetooth and press connect for the cradle to pair again. However the important thing is that it pairs and the entire system works. Good luck to all with the same problem.
Mercedes has solved the problem, they have released a update to the cradle and now it works fine. I upgraded today at my Mercedes service station and it works perfect.

I bought C350 only 6 months ago and I upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 and now my phone doesn't work with Mercedes.
What did you have to do for the update? Mercedes has a way to upgrade cradle?
