None of my albums synced to my iPad2 even though they were on there originally. How do I get them there. Obviously the photostreamed ones (1000 last ones) are showing and my camera roll. thanks.

Sync them to the iPad again. Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, click on your iPad name on the left, click on the photos tab on the right, and select them in iTunes. Make sure that you have all of albums or events - or sub folders for Windows - selected and make sure there is a checkmark in the Sync Photos From heading - then click on Apply (or sync) in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.
Thanks but I already did it and it said it was syncing but never did.
I have the same problem, but on my case I noticed that my itunes stops responding when it gets to the point that it tries to move purchased items from my ipad. and at that point I have to cancel itunes and start again...I still have not been able to get my pictures back.
When I finished the installation I was missing the movies and photos, even though they were marked as sync. So I selected not to sync either. and "apply", then I went back and selected to sync the movies again and "sync" that worked for the movies, but I have not been able to get the photos to sync using that approach.
I am using Windows 7 and I have noticed that iTunes has been pretty unstable for many months...it is worse now. it freezes constantly. Where I have to cancel it out.

Did you try restarting or resetting the iPad?
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
There is some really weird stuff going on with the discussion site. I have to swtich from the iPad to my Mac and back again, just to read my own posts!
I tried one more thing...I turned off the wifi and connected the iPad to the computer and tried it that way...also it did not work
Try this as well. Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache Folder. Read about it here.
I tried resetting the Ipad, restarting the computer, neither worked. my next step is uninstall itunes and re-install it
Just reset my ipad and tried to sync to iTunes, checking off the photos I wanted and nothing happened! Go Steelers!
