Siri has my name wrong-how to change?

Siri settings are under Settings > General > Siri

You have a contact in your phone that you need to edit the name on. It's probably the one associated with the apple.com account. Is that in your wifes name? It's the contact that always comes up to autofill your information. So look for your wifes full name in your contacts, edit to yours? I just did and now Siri isn't calling me by someone elses name!

It uses the Nickname field of your personal address book entry, double check what that it set to.

It did that for me too. I just created a new contact with the name I want her to use for me.

I had the same problem, and tried this...It worked for me

I added my name and info to my contacts, then I went into the settings>general>siri and changed the 'my info' to my name. For some weird reason it had my brother set up there.

It probably finds the closest match to your name, if it can't find yours it goes to the next closest match which would be the same last name. What's the best option to fix it?

To correct this if you go to the name that siri is using change that name to your name type your first name then enter a period then type your last name no spaces and your done.

I just asked Siri to call me Doc. She said "you want me to call you Doc?" I said yes, and she said "OK, Doc, that has a nice ring to it" Seriously, that's what she said!!!

You can tell Siri what your name is along with your relationships...

"my name is..."

"my wife is..."

"my son is..."

etc...

Try to Change your name under the Address book , worked for me . Cheers

go to contacts app and change your name or nickname of your own contact, i hope it helps you, it helped me. 🙂
