Migrating from MobileMe Family Pack to iCloud

Trying to plan ahead. I have a MobileMe family pack with two extra email accounts. They are distributed between my wife and two sons. I use the other 3 accounts primarily for personal and business email. One of the email accounts is also used for itunes purchases. Everything syncs smoothly between my mac pro, macbook pro, iphone and ipad. I have years of email on each of these accounts including the one I use for itunes.

Couple of questions:

When I convert each account to iCloud will I be able to access/sync email from my former family pack accounts from a single iCloud account. If so how?

If I convert my itunes/email account to iCloud can I attach my iTunes account to a different iCloud account?

Any other issues I should consider?

Thanks.

I have the same question. When I try to migrate my Family MobileMe account (for which I have four related emails accounts), the step-by-step prompts me to remove these emails accounts first. I don't want to lose then. If I de-link then from my Family MobileMe account, will they still exist as Apple IDs? I tried to use the email accounts to migrate then individually to iCloud, but I keep getting a "server error" so I'm wondering whether it's because these emails accounts are still linked to my Family MobileMe account. Do you think I risk losing these email accounts as Apple IDs if I delink them?

You can migrate each sub-account (by going to http://me.com/move ) individually before or after you have migrated the Master account. The wording of Apple's instructions has confused a number of people: what they are saying is that if you want to delete or administer any of the sub-accounts you need to do it from the Master account before you migrate, because you won't be able to do it afterwards.

You can regard the sub-accounts as being exactly like full accounts or the Master account, except that they can't be cancelled except by the Master account holder, and of course they have only 5GB space (and so won't be eligible for the free 20GB upgrade in iCloud which applies to migrants until 30 June 2012).

Hi, saw this and had a question. I have/had a family mobileme account. Two email addresses (one is master). My spouse has the other one. I migrated both to iCloud and now realize that that email address may not have access to my itunes. Is that true? I must be missing something. Originally had family account and all of our devices (3 or 4) were able to get to the same itunes account per the lic agreement. This was a big help in me being able to manage playlists etc. But I just realized that my spouse's phone doesn't have the playlists now that she is on iCloud.

How can I make it work like before? Is there a URL with more info?

Thanks.
