After 10.5 update itunes store won't load...

I updated my itunes to the new 10.5 and now the itunes store loading bar just appears half way and then goes away and just shows the itunes logo. It is not a firewall. It is not a missing update. I uninstalled everything the correct way and reinstalled 10.3 itunes and it worked. I updated that and again the itunes store does not work. Please help. I am very mad over this because I can't use it with my iphone without 10.5 update. I am on a windows 7 64bit.

Same problem for me: Windows 7 64-bit, problem arose with iTunes update to version 10.5.0.142 to Itunes 64-bit. Firewall authorization is fine. Uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes 10.5.0.142 64-bit. Flushed DNS setting. Music library works fine. Apps update download work fine. Can access my Itunes Store account. But cannot access iTunes Store to shop. Exchanged email with iTunes Store Support, they are zero help, just refer me to boilerplate instructions to check firewall and flush DNS. Apple iTunes Support is just awful, they don't take responsibility for issues like this.

Thank you Mr. S: Xeta's netsh winsock reset at Command Prompt worked to successfully resolve issue for me.

Though I don't understand why: Why this worked, why is was a problem, why is was a problem with this update but not with earlier versions, why iTunes can't preempt this, why iTunes Support can't expain this or why iTunes Support can't proactively direct users to do this with updates or setups that requires it.

After 10.5 update itunes store won't load...
