When I try to view the camera roll, I receive this error-- Your iPhone is locked. Unlock your iPhone to see all of your photos and videos.
Everything else seems to work fine. Photos were restored from backup.

I had this same problem. I closed out of Camera, opened Pictures app and noticed my Camera Roll there. I tapped and I could see all the photos and videos in my camera roll. I went back to Camera app, and I could then see the pictures and videos from my camera roll. The "your phone is locked" screen was no longer there.
