Before I migrated to iCloud, mobileme was pulling several of my pop 3 e-mail accounts. I set it up that way so that my iPhone had just one email account set up. My mobileme account automatically checked my pop3's and forwarded them to me. Now I don't see those settings any longer in iCloud. Was this service disabled?

I'm not even aware of this service with iCloud.
Same thing for us. We used iWeb publishing to MobileMe with an email and web publishing domain name. We wanted an email account the coincides with our web site domain name. MobileMe allowed us to check that email address, as well as send using that email address. Now iCloud does not. 😟 WAH!!!
Setup your external email address to forward to your iCloud address if you want the same end result. I don't know of any email service that doesn't allow you to forward mail to another account.
I have a AKO (Army Knowledge Online) email and it only allows forwarding to other .mil or .gov accounts. however it does allow POP3 access... so this would be somthing i need. If my me.com could check it for me and grab it into the cloud.
The ability to check external POP3 email accounts is not a feature of iCloud and the previous capability of MobileMe to do just that is removed for people who move to iCloud:

I figured as much to forward the external email domain to the iCloud email. Ah, but I am subscribing to GoDaddy and had just consumed my email forwarding account. It turns out that the me.com domain is already in use by another "shopper" and so it is not letting me set it up at this time.
Is this still the case now (August 2015)?
