Can't use my nickname in game center
After I updated to ios 5, game center won't allow me to use my nickname that I associated before I updated. Any one else have that problem.
Pc, Windows XP, Itouch and iPad

I actually just got it to work. I signed in with my nickname...but not as an email address. That did it for me.
Actually I got to work by using my Apple ID, game center was showing my .me e-mail, which is the same PW I use with my Apple ID, but it didn't work.
I'm having the same problem. I tried logging in with mt Apple ID , nickname, etc.
If you find a solution, please post.

See, if game center is showing you your .me account isn't of your apple ID, that's what happened to me.
I had the same problem. That is, when I tried to login into the Game Center with my Apple ID as it said, it acted like it was creating a new account. Finally, after doing all the things you guys tried, I tried logging in with just the first part of my Apple ID - my Apple ID is my email address - so I used just the part BEFORE the @ symbol along with my Apple ID password. That worked for me and hope it does for you.
