i have not got a verification email to verify my apple id
iPhone 4
Same problem here. Checked Spam folder - nothing.
Likewise. I had an apple ID, but they wanted an e-mail as the ID instead. No verification e-mail.
Any solution to this yet? I've been going in circles for hours. Is there any word from Apple even acknowledging the issue? Seems like a lot of people with the same problem.
I go to my email and click on the verify ID that I verified back in July.
I get the following...
Email address previously verified.
The address XXXX@XXXXl.com has already been verified.
I look at my manage account and still see:
Apple ID and Primary Email Address
It won't let me verify my icloud account despite the fact I was already verified in the past?
also have same issue,
tried verifying account it tells me to check emails, nothing there.
confirmed apple email assigned to phone, all set up correctly but no email to verify icloud???
am i doing it wrong somewhere? followed every step by step guide i can find on the issue so far 😟
Fixed! Here's the workaround:
1. Go to manage your Apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
2. Change your Apple ID and primary e-mail to a different e-mail you own.
3. Verify that e-mail when the link comes to the new one.
4. Go back to manage, change your e-mail back to the original one.
5. Verify that e-mail.
Seems to be a bug where if you didn't use an e-mail address as your apple ID, they wanted you to now use it. If you said that you wanted to use your old primary e-mail address that was associated with the account, it would throw a monkey wrench into their verification process - the e-mail was already verified with your old ID.
For instance, if your ID was joe12345, and your e-mail was joe12345@apple.com, they'd make you change your ID to joe12345@apple.com. However, that e-mail address was associated with the old ID - joe12345. Just a bug, but hopefully this workaround helps.
just updated to ios 5 and after 3days my apple ID cannot work, and it says "apple ID is not verified" and apple will send notifications for verification, but didn't get any emails aftewards...will somebody help me...:(((...i need to update my apps...thx so much for helping

Same exactly problem. Apple has a big issue here, presumably with millions of users.
Apple needs to fix this bug. Anyone on Apple support team want to speak up here?

Ok guys. I just paid £480 for my first iPad 2. So far pretty bummed out, cannot get to the app store before I verify my apple id and apple are not sending the verifaction email or it isn't getting thru. iPad is cool but useless without the app store.
I've reset my iPad,changed emails, reset my password my inactive account (it's there but not verified) now I'm stumped and regretting the purchase a little

This issue is coming up in MANY APPLE FORUMS: iPhone, iPad, MobileMe, iCloud, and probably some others. I did visit https://appleid.apple.com/en_US/ as suggested (the USA link, where I'm from). I did confirm I have ONE Apple ID which happens to be a gmail account. I have a iPhone 4S and PC Win7 with 100% current iTunes and iOS 5.0.1. I am current and functional.
There is NOTHING I can do to get past the 'Account not verified' page on iCloud. Occasionally the grayed out 'check email' block turns dark. I hit it - and it becomes gray again, but I never get an email from Apple (even though I did get an Apple Email when I voluntarily reset my password).
This is a nasty bug in Apple that means the iCloud service doesn't work, and the 'Find my iPhone' service doesn't work. Apple techs haven't seriously offered help, and the software continues to fail. Hello Apple - Is there a tech on staff? If you have an answer, please respond with clear, numbered steps precisely worded to match what we see on our devices. Don't philosophize - tell us exactly what to do in the correct sequence.
