Yes. You can view it directly from email or install PDF or some document reader from appstore.

I have a varient of the same question. I've discovered how to send myself a PDF via email and then when viewing the attachment on the 4s (which works just fine) to invoke the option of reading it in iBooks, which works find and leaves the PDF in the iBooks collection on the iPhone.

What would be slightly better would be if there were some way to do this when connected to my PC. At the moment I'm very happy with the basic sync'ing capabilities provided by the iPhone and iCloud (I use several different PC's depending on where I am). I see that if I want to sync my iPhone to a particular PC/iTunes I can sync the iBooks as well, from from a random PC that seems to require deleting the iBooks on iPhone already so I haven't chosen to do it.

When I go to the PC browser access to iCloud I don't see any way to "upload" a PDF to the iCloud (after which I'm sure it would appear on my iPhone) nor to specify that my iPhone sync's iBooks to the iCloud. My hope is this will come in some later release.

Am I missing anything I could do today other than the email trick? /pc
