So you need to think this might a h/w or s/w problem and expect apple to acknolege the issue.

It has been widely reported that Apple engineers are working with customers...

if it was a hardware problem then turning off location services wouldn't "fix" the problem.

My iPhone 4s battery is horrible, barley last me half a day with minimal use, I hate paying full price and having all these problems.

I had this problem and did the old fashion, charge fully  and then kill it, completely. from a full charge at first use you have to drain the battery completely, this sets the battery memory. If you charge it then use it a little, then charge it and use a little thats what sets it. you can try to kill it (drain the charge completely and i mean completey, then recharge completely)but it may already be set by now, so I don't know maybe apple can repace it and you can start over. All my equipment that I used this technique has seem to give great battery life. Hope it helps!

Not being a smartass.  Unless you're completely ignorant of Apple, you know that they typically don't discuss such things and only acknowledge the issue when it's fixed, when they know what the issue is and is going to take a long time to fix, or if like the antenna issue, there is no fix.  So I was being perfectly straight - Apple will comment when they know what the issue is and have a fix for it.

Very Unhappy here with the battery Issue ! 

Had an IPhone 4 and it lasted 2 days at least,,,,,,, Hope that Apple fixes our problem!

Turn off calendar notifications.  That saved my battery.

Hi. I'm with you. My iPhone 4S can't last more than 4 hours withouth needing a recharge.

It's freaking frustrating.

I can't go through all day without charging it twice.

Is it the iOS?

The hardware?

Just the Battery?

How is Apple addressing this problem?

my iphone 4 since getting ios5 ***** the life out of the battery!! can not get through the day now with out a charge, using battery while locked and sleeping!! is happening because of ios upgrade cause it was great before, c'mon apple....fix it!!

my iPhone 4S is still at 66% after 41+ hours after I applied this fix, which takes about 5 minutes, and others have had successes also.

You guys can be supportive of each other and encourage yourselves in relation to Apple's wisdom for commenting or not about the issue but please don't rant about things you know nothing about like Android. It's just uncalled for.

I charge my Galaxy S2 only every other day...
