""Why do people continue to drive themselves nuts over this, my god, go outside, enjoy life and wait for a fix!""
Nice post SHADYZZ. I stopped posting here a while ago due to a few 'trolls' continuously high-jacking this thread. Incredibly boring stuff! It's amazing how a couple of kids still living in mommy and daddy's basement, only coming upstairs when mommy says "dinners ready honey", and having no other life than to post here incessantly without even owning an iphone, can just degrade a thread into pointless dribble. To bad there are no moderators here.
Anyway, thought I'd share something, if anyone other than the trolls are still looking here. I downloaded an app called 'system status' which monitors your iphone's cpu usage, among other things. Many other apps out there that will do the same. What I noticed was in my phone logs running overnight (off the charger}, that my phone's cpu was only turning on once every 30 minutes, and then only to look for auto-time set (which I had turned off), and a few other things, then went back to sleep for another 30 minutes. I loose around 1-2 % overnight, and my 4s has always had great battery life. Seems to me that someone with problems could look at their logs to determine what cpu is doing (trying to ping towers, continually trying to sync something, etc.) Looking at the time displayed along with any actions, is very telling. If its running (logging) more than 1 minute every 1/2 hour, then you probably are having problems, and logs can show you where. These apps cost only 1 or 2 dollars, and may well be worth it for you. Just a suggestion!
To any newcomers here: Go to area's around page 350. Most useful stuff lays there. Explains why is software issue etc., and was a time when some useful info.was posted before the troll's took over. Like SHADYZZ says.... Apple will release a fix, so just relax, and understand all first adapters of any new versions of software are going to always experience glitches. Looking at your logs will also show you how incredibly complicated these little computers actually are. Just turn off all features you are not actively using, and hang in there. Deep in your heart, you know Apple is working feverently on a fix, just like any other company would.
