On another note, because some of you are new here, and obviously one can't expect to be reading 500 pages+ of posts etc, you might find some interest in this stuff I had put together here:

As far as petitions are concerned, I fail to see how this proves of any use. Yet it's your right to use such tools. I wouldn't know for sure, but I don't think the issues you're experiencing are so widespread - and if they were, the "lifestyle status" type of user won't notice all that much because he wields the device more than he uses it. The issues are compounded by expectations coming from the iPhone 4 usage, misleading specs, aggressive factory settings, lack of 3G toggle, poor app design from some devs with intense polling and hidden settings, flaky sanity of the restore procedure, mail ecosystem, malformed data, sim integration, and lack of education about Apple's best practices which in fact mitigate the specs. Finally there is clearly a trend of higher web browsing usage and more power users, while the PR promotes the device as a "little computer" whereas it's a novelty phone. And there's Apple's choice of hardware, especially the battery. Lately I've seen reference to the Qualcomm chip. It's a shame really some high level users speculate on electronics using words such as "probably", "possibly" and such - they should stick to repeating stuff in the KB to earn points. The Qualcomm chip is not lacking a feature or anything like that - and in any case Apple chose the chip and exactly knew what they were doing.
Good luck!
