How can i use iCloud with 10.6.8?

I have a old MacBookPro 2GHZ with Intel Core Duo and OSx 10.6.8. On this Mac i can´t upgrade to Lion.

How can i use the iCloud with my MacBook to sync my adressbook and iCal to the iCloud?

I only set up ical at the moment. Haven't got to contacts yet. Probably not much point if it's not going to work.
