Click the iTunes Store icon on the left side of iTunes

Scroll down to the bottom of the main iTunes Store window. Then, In the bottom-right corner, click on the country flag

On the next screen, select any different country's store—it doesn't matter which country you select, you'll change it in a moment to complete the process.

You will now be taken to the main iTunes Store window for the country you selected. Scroll back down to the bottom of the window, and in the bottom-right corner, click on the country flag.

On the next screen, switch back to your country's iTunes Store by reselecting your country.

Your language setting will now be displayed in the iTunes Store where content has been localized.

To change the language back to what it was, repeat these steps.

I have same problem in Geneva,I called support and as far as i understood that to have English Itunes in switzerland you need English or American Credit Card and then after you need to re-register itunes on English/American account with English/American credit car.

If you using Swiss credit card for your itune you can have only swiss german or french account 🙂 its really funny and rediculous.

Hope this helps to your question!

Try downloading the iTunes from http://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/if you want the browser to work in English.

However if it is the English songs/video that you are looking for – you will need an British or American iTunes account, address and credit card to be able to access UK/USA content. National legislation in individual European countries does not allow you to have, for example a French or Swiss account and access UK iTunes content. This is not the fault of Apple and they have tried to initiate change to fix this.

Hopefully the EU will force the member-states to rationalise this system soon and allow a pan-European iTunes.
