Problems with Push Email

I'm having problems with getting push email via iCloud to work on my iPhone 4 (stilling waiting on my iPhone 4s to come in). I am using iOS 5 and push works for a while and then stops. If I do a hard reset of the iPhone I can get it to work again for a while (max is about 12 to 16 hours or so), before it stops pushing again. I have also turned push notifications off as well as iCloud mail and then turned them back on, followed by the hard reset. Again, push works for a while and then stops. If it helps to answer this question, I also migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud.

Does anyone know of a permanent solution to this problem? Thanks for any insight or help you may be able to provide.

Similar issues for me - Updated two iPhone 4 and one original iPad. Updated two mobile me accounts to iCloud. Multiple mail accounts on each device, all accounts with the exception of iCloud get push mail without problem on the phones and iPad. Amazingly the iPad seems to have not problem with iCloud push but push does not work on either phone very irratating. I hope this issue can be resolved quickly.

After my upgrade to OS5 and to iCloud, me.com email will push to my Verizon iPad 2 but not to my AT&T iPhone 4. I need to manually retrieve email from the iPhone. Tried deleting and creating iCloud email account on the iPhone but did not help alleviate the problem. Push is on the phone under mail settings, fetch new data.

i am actually on the phone with apple support now, and the rep said he has never heard of this issue. he had me go into setting, check that push was on, then he asked me what my fetch setting was and told him manual, which was the default setting. the agent said that would be why push is not working. told him that is not the case, as its the same settings i had for MobileMe, now im waiting on hold for a senior advisor
