Just updated to iOS5 and OS10.7.2, all went very well.  Moved from MobileMe to iCloud, again easy, but now I have a problem that iCloud calendars are not shown on iOS devices.  Between my Mac Pro and iCloud no problem.

I have checked and rechecked all the setting on iOS, calendars are switched on for syncing etc in the iCloud setting, but CAL on my devices show no evidence of iCloud CALdev calendars!

This is very frustrating and I can't figure it out!!  HELP!!!!

I am having the same problem. I can see my iCloud calendar on both my iPad 2 and Mac Book Pro. However, in my iPhone 4, I am not able to see my iCoud calendar. I am researching this issue right now and will let you know if I find anything. If you find any answer, can you please post it here?

I was able to get my iCloud calendar to show up on my iPhone 4 app (using iOS5) and here's how:

    1. Go to Settings > iCloud > Account

    2. Make sure that the Apple ID is the same one that you are using on your Mac Pro or any other device that you are using iCloud.

    3. After you have entered that information, click "Done".

    4. Then make sure that the "Calendars" option is "On".

    5. You should then be able to see iCloud calendars in your iPhone 4 calendar app.

    Hope that works for you!

I have an iPhone 3gs and my iTunes is syncing fine from the cloud but my calendar isn't. Put an entry on the iPhone and not showing up in iCal.   Have it set up like you said but still no go.

13thgunghogun - you also want to make sure that iCloud is set up on your iPhone to sync iCloud items. Try going to Settings > iCloud > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then you should see iCloud listed as one of the Accounts. The other thing that you could try is going into your Calendar app on your iPhone and selecting "Calendars" at the top left side of the screen. You should then see iCloud listed and then make sure it is checked.

    Hope that works for you!

The other thing you want to check on is the Apple ID that you have entered in the Settings. I initially tried a different Apple ID and it did not display my iCloud calendar in the iPhone Calendar app. It was only until I used the correct one that I saw my iCloud calendars in the Calendar app.

You still have the MobileMe entry in your Settings:Mail, Calendar.  The system added iCloud, but there is still a MobileMe.  When I deleted this MobileMe, it had all the different calendars appear.

I am having the same issue.  My iMac and MacAir calendars sync, and even my iPad (although I'm not sure why that is working).  iCloud shows up on the computers, but just my old mobileme shows up on my iPad and iPhone.  On the iPhone only one of my calendars shows up on the old mobile me address.  The reminders aren't syncing, either.  My mail works fine, and the contacts seem to be okay.  I can change something on my iMac, MacAir or iPad, and those all will change, but not the reminders or calendar on my iPhone.

I did the same troubleshooting as Rellis did above with no success.  I did have mobileme previously - not sure if that is an issue.  I have done all of the other suggestions as well-my addresses all match, checked all of the settings etc.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Same here. Mac Pro is fine but my iPhone shows the calendar names from my Mac and from iCould but they are all blank. When I go to to choose which calendars to share, those showing are the blank ones from my phone and not from my Mac.

    It's driving me nuts.

I'm guessing the issue is that the account name being used on the IOS devices (my iPhone) is using my email as the account id, whereas on my Mac and on iCloud I'm using my iTunes/AppleID which is my address.  For some reason, I can't change it on my iPhone, so it's just stuck.  Somebody help!

So I was right.  You can delete your iCloud account on your IOS device by going into Settings>iCloud and then scrolling to the bottom and delete the account.  Then go back into Settings>iCloud and create the account and use the AppleID you normally use for iTunes and the App Store, not your MobileMe address.  Now everything is syncing for me.

I'm having a similar problem. iCal is fine on my computer, but it doesn't show up in iCloud, or on my iPad or iPhone (all blank). (Interestingly, the Birthday calendar syncs fine, and Reminders is fine).  But no events anywhere except in iCal on the MacBook.  I originally signed up with, then they changed it to, so now I have two Apple IDs that appear to be interchangeable.  Could that be the problem?  Somehow I don't think so, since I can sign in with either (the part before the or is identical)

Same deal. I got iCal (on my Macbook Pro) and working together beautifully but no iCloud calendars show up on my iphone or ipad. I've tried turning off icloud|calendars on the iphone, deleting icloud on the iphone etc. Nothing. iCloud calendars just refuse to show up.

  • mammonist Level 1 Level 1 (10 points)

Success! My iphone now has all iCloud calendars and contacts. Same for iPad!

How did I accomplish this? I believe powering the devices off and restarting them helped, but I can't be sure. Also under Settings|iCloud, turning off Calendar and Contacts (delete stuff from iphone when offered choice) and then turning back on may have helped too. But perhaps ultimately patience was the main thing.
