iCloud Calendar not showing up iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Just updated to iOS5 and OS10.7.2, all went very well. Moved from MobileMe to iCloud, again easy, but now I have a problem that iCloud calendars are not shown on iOS devices. Between my Mac Pro and iCloud no problem.

I have checked and rechecked all the setting on iOS, calendars are switched on for syncing etc in the iCloud setting, but CAL on my devices show no evidence of iCloud CALdev calendars!

This is very frustrating and I can't figure it out!! HELP!!!!

I was able to get my iCloud calendar to show up on my iPhone 4 app (using iOS5) and here's how:

1. Go to Settings > iCloud > Account

2. Make sure that the Apple ID is the same one that you are using on your Mac Pro or any other device that you are using iCloud.

3. After you have entered that information, click "Done".

4. Then make sure that the "Calendars" option is "On".

5. You should then be able to see iCloud calendars in your iPhone 4 calendar app.

Hope that works for you!

13thgunghogun - you also want to make sure that iCloud is set up on your iPhone to sync iCloud items. Try going to Settings > iCloud > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then you should see iCloud listed as one of the Accounts. The other thing that you could try is going into your Calendar app on your iPhone and selecting "Calendars" at the top left side of the screen. You should then see iCloud listed and then make sure it is checked.

Hope that works for you!

I am having the same issue. My iMac and MacAir calendars sync, and even my iPad (although I'm not sure why that is working). iCloud shows up on the computers, but just my old mobileme shows up on my iPad and iPhone. On the iPhone only one of my calendars shows up on the old mobile me address. The reminders aren't syncing, either. My mail works fine, and the contacts seem to be okay. I can change something on my iMac, MacAir or iPad, and those all will change, but not the reminders or calendar on my iPhone.

I did the same troubleshooting as Rellis did above with no success. I did have mobileme previously - not sure if that is an issue. I have done all of the other suggestions as well-my addresses all match, checked all of the settings etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

So I was right. You can delete your iCloud account on your IOS device by going into Settings>iCloud and then scrolling to the bottom and delete the account. Then go back into Settings>iCloud and create the account and use the AppleID you normally use for iTunes and the App Store, not your @me.com MobileMe address. Now everything is syncing for me.

I'm having a similar problem. iCal is fine on my computer, but it doesn't show up in iCloud, or on my iPad or iPhone (all blank). (Interestingly, the Birthday calendar syncs fine, and Reminders is fine). But no events anywhere except in iCal on the MacBook. I originally signed up with mac.com, then they changed it to me.com, so now I have two Apple IDs that appear to be interchangeable. Could that be the problem? Somehow I don't think so, since I can sign in with either (the part before the @mac.com or @me.com is identical)

Same deal. I got iCal (on my Macbook Pro) and iCloud.com working together beautifully but no iCloud calendars show up on my iphone or ipad. I've tried turning off icloud|calendars on the iphone, deleting icloud on the iphone etc. Nothing. iCloud calendars just refuse to show up.

Success! My iphone now has all iCloud calendars and contacts. Same for iPad!

How did I accomplish this? I believe powering the devices off and restarting them helped, but I can't be sure. Also under Settings|iCloud, turning off Calendar and Contacts (delete stuff from iphone when offered choice) and then turning back on may have helped too. But perhaps ultimately patience was the main thing.

I just posted a message along the same lines without seeing this discussion first. After trying every trouble shooting tip listed I tried deleting the iCloud account and then added it back and that has solved the problem. I can now see my calendars. However, the list view is not working. I can say the day or the month, but not the list. Has anyone else experienced this?
