I've resarted my computer and iphone several times. I've uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it but no matter what I do my computer will not recognize that my iphone is plugged in. My iphone is fully charged, brand new, and I'm also having trouble with siri. I have a windows vista laptop. Help please.

I had this problem when i upgraded to Lion OS X. Try this:
-Open System Preferences, Users & Groups, Select the account you are logged in with, select Login items
-Remove Itunes Helper
-Select the + button to re-ad iTunes helper and browse to this location: MacintoshHD,Applications,iTunes,Contents,MacOS,iTunesHelper
-Reboot.
Plug in your iphone. Hopefully iTunes opens automatically.
