why won't my gen 5 nano work on my car stereo?

I have a JVC digital head unit in my car that has an IPOD adapter and no aux in. My old Nano worked fine but when I upgraded it in to the adapter but my new gen 5 Nano doesn't work. How can I listen to my new Nano in the car stereo?. An fm transmitter is not an option due to the incredibly bad quality of sound they provide.

And please don't say I need a new head unit for the car. That would be incredibly arogant for apple to assume I would replace my car stereo to be able to play my IPOD through it. Please tell me they had enough class to create and adaptor for this.. I am aware for the charging adapter from a 3rd party provider but that won't allow me to play my music.

Thanks

Simon

You need to contact JVC to find out if they are compatible with your "new" iPod Nano. It is 3rd party's responsibility to keep up with Apple, not the other way around. 😉
