How do you refresh photostream?

When I was home last night I took a picture with my iphone (connected to the home wifi network) and it showed up in photo about 5 minutes later. Today I took a picture on my iphone while I was out, expecting it to be in iphoto when I got home. It wasn't. I took another picture when I was home (connected to the network again) and it showed up shortly after. If photostream only works when your device is connected to wifi, this is going to suck. I can understand not syncing until I get home, or connect the phone to wifi, but even that didn't work. Those photos I took while I was out didn't sync. Any help?

If photostream only works when your device is connected to wifi

Wi-Fi only.

On your iPhone tap Settings > iCloud.

Make sure Photo Stream is switched ON.

or connect the phone to wifi, but even that didn't work

If photos still don't appear on the iPhone with a Wi-Fi connection, tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.

Restart the iPhone.

Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Thanks. I didn't know it was wifi only and I was so confused about why it was not working today when it worked other days. The reason is that I am at work and not connected to wifi. As soon as I connected, it worked as expected.
