persistant volume consistancy check problem

Recently installed new 750 gig hdd and partitioned it into 3 volumes- Snow Leopard/Aperture Library/Lion. Each system has the latest updates but problem predates updates and continues to occur.

Using Drivepulse the Lion volume (which was a clean re-install with data/apps migrated from healthy snow leopard volume) shows persistant volume consistancey problems. Both disk utility and drive genius usually fail to repair the problem. Disk warrior sorts it but only for the problem to return , as in a matter of hours/days. This problem only occurs on the Lion volume.

Can't believe its hardware related as its restricted to one volume, but confused why it would appear after clean install.

Would like to hear of any suggestions and precautions I should take

Regards

Pat
