Can't Install Xcode 4.2

Have now downloaded the recent Xcode 4.2 update 4 times for it to either fail sortly before fully downloaded i.e. 1.78gb of 1.8gb OR after full download but during installation.

This aint funny when its a 1.8gb download!

Anyone any ideas on how to remedy this issue?

Cheers

I am aware of the install location - the console log shows installd installing a "Xcode Install Assistant", and the /LibraryReceipts/InstallHistory.plist has an "Xcode Install Assistant" entry, but after downloading for several hours there is no Xcode installer file located anywhere that I can find (invisible or not). I'm not about to redownload a 1.8Gb file until this is figured out, as I also do not think it is funny.

The same thing is happening to me (UK Mac App Store, Lion 10.7.2). Download runs to within a few MB of the full amount - I can't be exact about this as I'm not prepared to wait the ~3 hours the download takes on my 'broadband' - then fails with a helpful message saying download failed, try again. I've tried 5 times already!

I had thought it was just dodgy broadband, but I was a bit miffed I didn't get the 'resume download' option after the failure. So I started Console, and found a message in the system log:

storeagent: ISStoreURLOperation: Expected bytes (167128637) did not match actual (1803968722)! Setting error. (See 9215068)

I think this is probably related - the size of the actual download looks right

sudo find / -size 1803968722c -print

did not find any file of this size anywhere, so I assume it has been deleted.

So, how do I go about reporting a Mac App Store bug?
