Siri does not give weather!

I can ask for weather in other cities - just can't get Siri to articulate weather in my town even though iPhone weather app detects correctly.

Siri gets its weather forcast from Yahoo, like the built in weather app. There must be some issue with the Yahoo server timing out.

Really interesting. I can ask for random cities (Denver, Indianapolis, etc.) - but my current location of Avon, Indiana it can't return - even though the app can return. Thanks for the insight. Hopefully they'll get it corrected in concert with Yahoo.

Sounds like a location services problem - SIri isn't getting correct location info from the phone.

Go into your settings>location services and make sure you have Siri location set to on.

Settings > Location Services > Siri on

My location settings are correct. In fact I can ask Siri "Where am I?" and it knows... So it just doesn't make any sense. Thanks for the responses though.

I had the same problem, then I tried another city and it worked. So I went back and said "what is the weather HERE for tomorrow?" By adding "here" that once it now works every time (even with simpler "what is tomorrow's weather?" type Q's).

I'm having the same issue in Philadelphia Pa. Nothing I have tried has worked.

Both my wife and I are having the same problem with Siri & Weather. Siri works fine on everything else, just can't connect to weather services. We are also in the Philadelphia area. Weather works fine in both the Weather app and in the notification tray. Locations services are working fine as it knows where I am asking from. Only says it connect to weather, try again. It has been doing that since Friday afternoon. Other than that Siri is working great. Truly amazing!

Count me as another Philadelphia-area Siri-weather-challenged user.

I've not once been able to get Siri to relay local weather-related information.

Every request results in:

"I don't seem to be able to get weather information right now. Please try again later."

I am able to request forecasts for a specific location (e.g. "Weather in Atlantic City"), but nothing location-aware. Yes, Location Services for Siri is On (and toggled off/on many times), and even "knows" where I'm at -- It responds to "Where am I?" with the correct GPS coordinates.

Most other Siri requests seem to be functioning properly.

Please fix location-aware weather, thanks.
