Why won't it let me verify my email address?

i am having the same problem, does it just send you text and no button? also do you use centurytel email?

It was working great until today, but Apple wants to validate my email for an unknown reason, saying that it is associated with another account.

my email account is still active, but I don't receve the send validation email so I can't validate it ....

Having the same problem! I have gone through the motions of verifying the accounts (I have 2). Verification email comes and makes me reset my password. Okay, done, and redone...... still said verified by another Apple ID. Why aren't they (Apple) fixing this?! Oh, wait, because they have a total lock on the market and well face it, where you gonna go? iphone, ipad, .... 7 apple products in the house and this is the service I get. Sweet...not.

Any solution yet? Nov 1 and still having this problem.

Same problem here. I can't get iMessage or find my friends to work because of this. 😢

The only way I solved it was to change the email address used for my ID to a new one.

iTunes tech support is of no help on this.

it seems that the old address is associated to another account which is not fully configured, a unstable state where nobody can have any action on it. tech support can't delete it because its setup is not completed and we can't access it to complete it.

A really anoying bug.

I am having the same issue as well and the only thing I can think of is that I am using a school email address so the email ends with @ohio.edu.. I am not sure if that is someway screwing with the verify email. They really need to fix this crap because the new update already deleted all my contact and whipped half of my apps off my phone and now it is not letting me sign up for the could because of this email. I hate apple.

I'm still trying to verify my account so I can actually buy something on iTunes, and it just keeps telling me to change my password, but then when I do it won't let me in with the new one either. I've been fighting with this lousy thing for ages, and support has been less than no help.

I had to close down my old email that was my apple ID because it had junk mail on it. So i did and it found out and i had to change it. i wrote it in and it didnt send me the verification link at all. NOTHING.

omgggg same I got a new Ipod and I went to buy new songs and I had to validate that it was my account and I didnt know my security questions and it wont send me the e mail to reset them..... grrrrr
