This is one feature I wish Apple would make happen.
Are you talking about a Bluetooth headset ? I have a Bluetooth stereo in my car and the IPhone 4 and 4S play fine. If you are talking about a headset, I thought they worked as long as it was a stereo Bluetooth headset. I'm not sure but it's definitely something worth looking into.
No - I am talking about the music playing through your bluetooth headset. (earpiece) (plantronics)

Bluetooth to a stereo headset uses the A2DP profile, which iOS has supported since 3.0, I believe. I certainly was able to get it working with my iPhone 3G to a Motorola headset. Should work fine with both 4 and 4S.

The IPhone 4 and 4S can play music through a stereo bluetooth headset. Not too many phones can play music thru a standard Bluetooth headset.
Agree with Matt completely. my earpieice is a Jarba ERA and uses A2DP to pick up the music over bluetooth. Works perfect!!
