Find my Mac not working in MB Air

I am trying to activate Find My Mac and iClud preferences says I must update Recovery System. If I check Software Update there is nothing there and download manually and install seems to work (download is 456 MB and install 73 kb??) but error remains. Thanks.

The TUAW instruction didn't work for me. 😟

Got a MBP late 2008 connected thru Airport, ran 10.7.2 combo update on a 10.7.1

1.I ran Disk Repair from Recovery HD, did not find any errors.

2. Tried to install the RecoveryHDUpdate.dmg, got an error msg saying:

"Lion Recovery Update can't be installed on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirement for this update"

Does anybody know why I could not run the recovery udpate?

I had the same problem and found this post when troubleshooting it. I had already done everything in this post, but it wasn't fixed until I finally flipped the safari checkbox on in System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy. Wish the main apple support article TS4006 referenced this part, or even that they had a place for a user to submit a suggestion on what's missing.
