iPhone 4 not going into landscape even after doing a hard reset on the phone. Anyone help?

Recently bought a IPHONE 4 which I'm really pleased with, however it's not going into landscape mode, no matter what application is open. I've done a reset on the phone from the laptop, but still no joy. I'm currently on version 4.3.5, can anyone offer any advice.

Did you check the orientation lock? Bring up the multitask bar by double clicking the home button, swipe from left to right, next to the play control is the icon for the screen orientation lock. Tap on it to unlock, close the bar and see if landscape mode now works.
