Wi-Fi sync being blocked by firewall

I figured out why my iPod couldn't do wifi sync and that was because my AVG firewall was blocking it. I turn it off and it is shown in iTunes. I turn it on and it is disconnected. I'd like to know how I can configure my AVG firewall to allow the iPod to use wifi sync. Please help.
