4s camera flash problems

I also have had a problem with the flash the pictures are blured. I went and purchased a few cases and it still is bad. I now have it out of a case and pictures still with flash stink. I have called apple they say they dont know a thing. I went to an apple store they also dont know a thing. So apple how about an update on your camera when the flash is used you know there is a problem. You sell your iphone 4s a say how great the camera is but also know that with the flash being used the pictures are blured . And do nothing about it. Hold it the wrong way and pictures are upside down . You show it taking pictures with the speakers buttons up and to the right side and it still is wrong the pictures are upside down when put in a PC at least some of them are. Dont listen to apples bull there is a problem and they wont do a thing for you . I am taking this iphone back today for a new one and if there is another problem with the camera I am done with apple and all there double talk. Its all about the sales. Money Money Money thats all it seems they care about.

Seriously, blurred pictures are most likely due to not holding the phone rock steady when you take the picture. Many people kind of relax their grip when the pre-flash happens, or accidentally move the phone when pressing the "shutter button", and allow the phone to move a little when the actual flash takes place and the picture is taken. My wife was doing that and now gets sharp pictures.

The other possible cause is not letting the camera get a good focus before taking the picture. It has a harder time in low light, so make sure it locks focus before pressing the button. In REALLY dark scenes, the pre-flash is usually good at finding the subject and focusing, but it isn't 100%.

Last but not least, if you take a picture without one good focus point (like maybe in a group of people moving around at a prty or something), your picture might come uip blurry. It has to have something to focus on.

No it's not. It's the plastic laminated strip on the back of your phone. Peel it off like you peeled off the one on the front. :-). I was going crazy being told it was the way I was holding it, my white cover, my phone case etc.. But. Old. Just peel the laminated sticker off!!

That's not necessarily the fix. Some of us have had issues with the white phone and had the presence of mind to remove the film.

Ok I have used the flash tonight and I must say after I reset the phone again and most of the time did not use the flash the pictures where ok. I do not have film on the back of the iphone you should of taken it off when you got your phone. But I have to say if the phones are having flash camera problems then apple should step up and fix them or replace then. What crap they say we have no info on it never heard of the problem . Give us a break your making your sales and we are spending good money for iphones and monthly fees at least fix the problem. So you know the phone has a problem fix the camera flash or you should give people a new phone that works as you say it should. Thats just more BS we have to hear from a company. Apple some how I think we should not of eaten there bull crap hype. Sounds like the garden of eden we get screwed.

There is no problem with the black iPhone. My pictures are gorgeous.

Look some phones have problems black as well. All I am saying is you buy a product you want it to work as they say it should. If they need to fix it thats fine or replace it.

Sorry my suggestion wasn't the answer. Hopefully the shop you got your phone from will help you out. My shop had a two month warranty to exchange for any faults, hopefully your phone is still in warranty. Good luck. (and "notyou" you're just rude and don't belong on the forum. Even i have iPhone 4s 64G WHITE, the photos with Flash are HORRIBLE 😠.

I had to turn the flash off for any kind of night pictures.

Ok it has been a while and still no fix for the flash and camera. Apple said what a great camera. I can buy a camera at the dollar store that is better then iphone 4s camera. Why don't they update the camera or fix them? They still say that the camera is fine . Bull face it they wont live up to what they know is a problem at least not on this phone. As for siri yes it will do many things but with many problems at times. I put vilingo on my phone and it can search the web better than siri and it can also spell better you talk and it puts down just what you said the first time. Siri cant understand half the time and it gets it wrong you have to go over what you said a few times before its right.. Come on apple get all the problems fixed. What you need to get ready for the next big iphone before you fix all this? That should be illegal product problems and still selling your iphones.

I am on my 5th iphone 4s white 16 g spirnt and have had flash issues with every single phone. My mom has black 4s same issue. Anybody who says its how your holding your phone is a f#$&*&% idiot. I mean really. Its not rocket science. Point and shoot. Every genius bar associate clams i'm the first person to report this. lol really. Ok i guess your just doing what your told. But unfortuantly i'm passed my 30 days and past my patience. why swap out again. just fix the problem. bullsh$*
