IPHONE 4s call failed??!!!

The solution for No Service/Searching problem in iPhone 4S...it worked for me instantly...

I have iPhone 4S iOS 6.1.2 (10B146) and had the same problem

Whenever the problem kicks in, just change the date and time of your iPhone and turn on & off airplane mode and wait for it...!! it will work for sure...if it still doesn't work, remove the sim and plug in back...!

Looking at how old this thread is [Oct 16, 2011], I doubt Apple looks here, which is a shame, but wanted to record having same problem here in hope that one day, when enough people have reported this, Apple would acknowledge the problem & provide a fix.

I have problem with my iphone 4s, I recently moved from middle east and bring my iphone 4 s with me to US I bought new SIM card (simple mobile) it work fine for the first 2 days and after that I tart with face the problem in calling (I cant dail the phone disconnected immediatly when I wantto call somebody) as well as when some body try to call me they face voice mail even no rings. When I restart the phone every thing be fine but I face this problem 4 times a day I try to reset the phone to factory setting but the problem not fixed >>> Can somebody tell me plz what can I do???

Sh*t! I gave my 5s to my son and got his 4S, but this POS shows "call failed" all the time. I have to shut it down and restart it to just make a call and who knows how many calls I have missed!!! >_<

Yes I'm on Vodafone in the UK and get the same "call failed" issue on about 25% of calls. Its a company phone and my colleagues have the same issue.

Not sure if its just a coincidence but "upgrading" to the latest OS seemed to make it worse.

Another issue I have... if the initial call fails and I don't try to make the call again when I come back to use the phone after some time as soon as I unlock the phone it starts making the call again.

It's not a joke, I restored the phone, did everything I read here and the only thing that works is playing with some settings....it's the IIphone itself that has problem and Apple should fix it instead of balming the carrier, etc...

Unfortunatly I live in Mexico and my Carrier is Telcel...we are always a fews years behind you guys! I went to the customer service and they looked at me like I was weird and tried to sell me another phone, jaja

Only way to get attention is to flood apple with info on this matter: fill in form at: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html and let them know..

Are you restoring from the same backup every time? If so, try not doing.
