Gestures for Safari on iPad.
Is there any hand gestures to move safari pages back and forth on iPad2? if none i hope apple comes up with this kind of feature like the one on lion os x. would be very convenient for us. thanks

On the iPad 2 you can enable multitasking gestures in Settings, bu there are not specific gestures just for Safari - they would conflict with the multitasking ones anyway. http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

thanks king. yeah its sad they dont have it, would have been a huge difference and convenience if there would have been one. but thanks anyways.
Hate to bump an old thread, but Safari gestures are sorely needed on the iPad.
They would NOT conflict with the multitasking gestures; 3 finger swipe back and forth for forward/backward page browsing, 4 finger for switching between apps, just like in Lion.

You can try using "Terra" browser. It's free of charge. You can use two fingers to go back and forth and three fingers to navigate tabs.
