Hi e,
Some background would be helpful, including which MBP you have. To start, do you have at least 15% free space available on your HD?
Are you getting kernel panics?
"You need to restart your computer" (kernel panic) message appears (Mac OS X v10.5, 10.6)
Here is how to extract what happened, and you can post the cut and pasted text here for assistance.
Same here.
New Solid State Hard Drive and New Ram.
Crashed 4 times.
Thank god for Back up.
Here is some more information regarding my "crashing".
I have a MBP 15 inch, Mid 2010
Processor 2.53 GHz Intel Core I5
8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Nvidia GeForce GT 330M 256 MB
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)
I am getting kernal panic message in the failure. I will save the report next time it happens. So far today it has happened 4 times.
Hopefully someone can help.
Thanks
I will save the report next time it happens.
The reports are already saved and waiting for you to fetch them. If you really want help form your fellow Mac Users with this issue, read the article, go get the information that is waiting to be retrieved, and post it here.
If all you want to do is moan about it and wait for it to happen again, I guess it cannot be that much of a problem.

I'm still running 10.6.8 on my Core i5 2.53Ghz MBP with nVidia 330m graphics. I heard 10.7.2 doesn't fix the problem.
You don't have to be rude. I'm trying to get this resolved. I take exception to you comment about "moaning".
If you aren't going to be helpful and have nothing good to say then don't bother. Really didn't appreciate your lack of assistance and immature response.
I thought I would give this a try with the MAC community. I am on warranty why am I wasting my time with people like you. (That I thought was going to be helpful and not judgemental)
Thanks for nothing.
Don't take that seriously, ennovyp.
Sometimes it take a long time to troubleshot a problem. In general, were you doing anything specific and lead to the kernel panic? (e.g. using Skype, iPhoto, watching Flash-enabled contents, gaming, etc.)
You asked for help.
I spent my time reading your posting and finding explanatory links to the appropriate articles so that you could understand what was happening. If you really were seeing Kernel Panics, posting the information your Mac saves can lead you to the exact cause very quickly.
Despite my handing you direct and approprite tools to solve your problem, you said, "I'll wait till next time."
Now lets talk about what constitutes rudeness.
Thank you very much for that. It usually happens when I'm on the Internet. But it has also happened when I was creating an email message. It has not been consistent when it happened.
Sometimes when I'm on a game site. Could that be the problem?
Thanks for your help.
Yvonne
I am attaching a copy of my crash report from the library. Let me know if there's anything else I need to provide in order to resolve the issue.

That is a Hardware problem. The processor is having trouble talking to the NVDIA Graphics Hardware.
If you can, you should run Apple Hardware test.
Regardless, you should make an appointment at the Genius Bar, and plan on leaving your Mac for service.
Also: You have VirtualBox add-ons installed, but they are not implicated in this crash..
Make sure your VirtualBox add-ons are completely up-to-date for 10.7.
