i just upgraded to ios5 and it has been really good, but now i am unable to recieve SMS messages....I can send texts, send and recieve iMessages, but i can not recieve texts....any one have ANY idea what is wrong?? thanks

Same happened to me.. Apple limits text data to 1000mb or something like that which equates to about 75,000 messages. I was forced to delete some older messages and make room for new. I actually HATE this feature, I had text history as far as 4 years ago stored on my phone and i loved it... but sorry, thats the way it is. Delete some old ones.
tried that...it didnt work...i will delete a lot of old messages, then randomly i will get a bunch of new messages, but they are from as long as 12 hours ago....
I'am having the same issue, I even restored my phone to facorty setting and still nothing!!!!!
all of the sudden, i got over 30 texts, in succession....and now it works...i think i turned off icoud, but now i cant turn it back on....super frustrating....
