Siri won't Sync Notes

When creating a note manually it sync's fine up to iCloud. When I have Siri create a note, it appears in the notes section, however it doesnt sync to iCloud until i edit it manually and add in at least one character. Then and only then will it sync.

Any thoughts on this? Others having this issue?
