I have ATT high speed internet and a Time Capsule. I want to preferentially use the TC capsule as my router. Someone told me I had to have ATT come out and change something on their router in order for this to occur. Anyone have info on this???

The device that AT&T has provided to you may....or may not....be able to be configured to allow your Time Capsule to function as the "main" router on the network.

Even if it can....AT&T will likely not support this type of configuration

Check with AT&T first to see if this is possible....and also whether they will support this type of configuration in the event of Internet connection difficulties.

If the AT&T device that you have cannot be configured to allow the Time Capsule to function as the main router, AT&T may have a simple modem that could be used for this purpose. That's another question for AT&T.
